Thinking about getting a new deck....

Well i have a little money to throw in the evo im buying soon and im not looking to upgrade the performance of the car yet, first i want a little style. I was thinking about possibly getting a new deck with indash fold out dvd and maybe hooking a ps 2 in their or something, What do yall think? Anyone know about how much that would cost me for a relatively nice dvd foldout cuz i know their is alot of cheap ones, i was thinking like 1500.

Oh and the Evo im getting is a 2003 evo VIII red with about 30k miles for like 19-20k is that a pretty good deal?

I would say get the AVIC-N1 if you want everything including navigation.

N1 is a great unit it goes for around 1800 bucks most places... plus 150 for install (there is extra stuff to do when installing DVD/NAV system) and the PS2 would be that much more also if you want your system to sound good your ganna need to replace more than just the head unit speakers amps etc. If your dropping that kind of money into a head unit its silly not to upgrade the rest of your sound.

the AVIC N1 is a really cool screen its got navi dvd compatible and it can read out engine diagnostic its about 1500-1800 most places so its gonna be pricy but its proly one of the best screens out there also any of the screens from Alpine are also good products

I'm selling my Alpine IVA-d300. It's a motorized flip out dvd screen. Comes with everything you need to hook up to your EVO. Easily hook up your playstaion to it also. I have and it worked out great. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...734718934&rd=1
