I was wondering if the new ACD with the tarmac/snow/gravel feature will break if I were to be dragging the car?

Not to be a smart ***, but anything can break when dragging your car. Though, I'd be more concerned with the front than the center diff.

Man, forget dragging, evos are meant to be on the track.

yeah, i mean it's possible to drag race evo's and they do pretty well but it's probably not the best idea just because when you do break things it is going to cost you. I mean this has been said a million times before but if you really want a drag car you might be better off from a financing standpoint to go with a mustang/camaro or something like that.

What if you launch off the starting line while racing on a road course? I would think the ACD can withstand some moderate launches.

For the Question at hand, if your going to drag your car, I would recommend slipping as high as your limiter will allow(I believe5500rpms), do not drop the clutch, dropping = things breaking..
Good Luck..

Seems like today is off topic day. So far I've read a few threads started today where all of the posts have nothing to do with the original topic......including this thread and post. LOL

To each his own. I like doing everything. I want my EVO to be a "jack of all trades" car.
