Must not be that poor of a college student to be drivin an Evo around campus. At least you don't have some sh!tty beater. Then you might as well kill your self.

I can relate to how you feel though. I had my lightly modded 1g DSM while I was in college, and I wanted to mod it heavily so badly since I would read about how fast they can get on the talon digest.
Very true...my Evo isn't completely stock so I can get by(exhaust and reflash), but the Evo is the reason I am poor...oh well, its more than worth it!

An upgraded stock turbo is the titanium version found in the JDM EVO 8 MRs and EVO 6.5 TME RS. The turbo shaft and exhaust wheel are built from a titanium alloy and are significantly lighter than our stock parts. The compressor wheel is the same.

nice write up! that sounds like an awesome car! I haven't gotten the chance to ride in any modded evo's but i sure would love to if i had the chance... the evo really is a beast stock, and when modded, it's just ridiculous

Stock is good for old men like me. Modded is just too much power for me to handle.
