Rear shots of the US Evo8!!
couple of questions:
anyone want to guess what the top speed of this guy will be? also how about passing speed 60 to 100? basically is the gearing so short to kill top speed in favor of overall acceleration?
What about side impact airbags? (mostly wondering cause they help out my insurance)
the interior that has been identified as GSR has a double din - think that will carry over? also, any more word about getting the evo8 without a stereo all together?

that wing!
The wing rocks....I could do without the played out clear tail lights.
The problem is, if the wing is offered as an option to the EVO, you can bet your butts that the delaers will make them a very expensive option. And if the wing is very expensive to buy, then they will be a part highly sought after by thieves....cause afterall, it will fit right on to a regular Lancer, no?

Why the hell does this say Lancer? The Evolutions all say Evolution.
I asked about that in Vegas- the reply was somthing to do with name rights. In the states they couldn't use just evo. And since they are using this car to help sell lancer too why not leave lancer on the gage!
Most of you who read this also read the other threads...but I just thought I'd waste some ink...besides, I'm just learning to touch-type so it's good practice. As I said in August or somewhere's about then. We are not getting the ACD on this model. I clearly stated that this was not theory, but simple fact. A bunch of us used to argue about it so we found out and laid it to rest. Now it's like a ghost story. Oh well, fantasize all you want...no ACD and no AYC this year. It makes me weep. I'm with Mr Skyline on waiting for the 05 ("04" if you want to call it that) and hoping like hell for ACD/AYC. But for this one, guys, game over...long ago...so STOP RUBBING IT IN!!

Another thing I noticed in the pic is the shifter. If you look at the JDM EVO slideshow pics, there is a badge that says "Evolution". Also, the shifter appears to be mounted on carbon fiver accent.
Anyone got any thoughts on this?

When he gave me a ride at SearsPoint. He was hitting the IC spray manually. I'm not sure if he tried it on Auto.

My bad.
