Look fellas. High performance brakes squeek period. Theres nothing wrong with the brakes and there is really nothing you can do about it. Its just the price you pay for agressive brakes.

Do a search in the archives and you will see all the people that were complaining about it when the 03's first came out.

It gets better as the breaks seat in more.

Did your dealer not explain all this too you when you got the car or show you the video?

Just wait till you have to replace the tires in 10 to 15 thousand miles.

So you only have 100 miles on your car and you're complaining about the brake noise? At least wait until the break-in period is over, then take it to the dealership if they are still making noise.

there is something you can do. Mine still does it but if you apply hitemp silicon grease to sides of pads any where it touches the caliper or hold down spring the noise will go away until next oil change...try

You have high performance brakes they sqeek. When you stop at low speeds you are using 1/4 of the total pressure of the brakes. They are going to sqeek, try stoping at 50+ no sqeeking. Just try stopping later than you normally would. That worked for me...

My 05 Evo 8 did the same thing right off the lot. Very loud noise at low speeds. I had the dealer check it out and they could find nothing wrong. Now, I am at just over 1000 miles and the noise has stopped. Break them in for a while and see if it goes away. It did on mine.

I've got a 05 MR and mine do the same thing. I found that it helps if you clean off your rotors every time you wash your car. Its a pain in the *** but it helps.
