Brake Squeeks Help Me
man i just got my evo 8 but there is a problem already the brake squeeks hella bad and the dealer told me its normal there is only 100 miles on it what u guys think help me me

Totally normal. Since the stock brakes are high-performance units, they will squeal until they are properly warmed up.

semi metallic brakes, they squeek. Check your brakes, just to make sure tho. You don't know how it was treated.

your brakes are locking? wtf. don't drive if your brakes are locking. call the mitsu and have them pay for the towing.

nono they arent locking, they seem to have a litttttttle pressure applied on them.

i spray some lubricating spray to it , still squeaking when stoping from 15 mph hella loud

Try a little axel greese on the rotors. It should clear it right up.

Ask the dealer if they could install shims on your brakes. It does make a difference. You should however accept the fact that these high performance brakes will squeal.

no it squeak hella loud and for a long time from it squeaks from 15 mph to a stop

Make sure the shims are on the back of the pads. Also try BG Stop Squeal, it's applied to the pad material, works great.

mine makes noise but it's not squeak it's more like glazing only happens at low speed...

yes, it dose under 10 mph i have 2700 miles on ,i took it in and GM told me it was ok i told him that my 03 never done that he said that the 05 has a bit better pads then the 03
