Never do any serious work with the factory jack. Best thing to do is get an aftermarket small one that is rated for more weight. Another helpful tip is if your tire is completely flat if you can find a nice size rock or something else close by stick it infront of the tire then pull up until the flat is on top of it. Its less height you'll have to actually jack the car. The once the wheel is off just remove and put on the donut. Used this alot offroad

hey a little JB Weld and that wheel is as good as new.

killasweep, drive up on a couple of flat 2x8s before you try the floor jack.
hey guys, floor jacks are cheap, they are the only way to lift a car. ramps are good too.

on the other hand if your garage has high ceilings get a lift, they are only about 2k.

the jack is totally bent, first time using it and it collapsed under the weight.......

When your car is done, have the alignment checked.

I'd be SHOCKED if the alignment wasn't screwed up after hearing it hit the curb and lift the left side of my car off the ground.

Just a little update

The ventvisors, vortex generator, helix cat-back, and slotted rear rotors have come in so far. Tomarrow the downpipe, high-flow cat, rim, and walbro fuel pump should (BETTER) be coming in! Parts are starting to pile up in my room and Friday's starting to look like it's going to be LONG.

I am surprised that noone near you is willing to try and help since it seems to be a great challenge. If you pull it off, you will feel like a god afterwards. Good luck.

i remembered that I forgot to use a wheel chock and my car rolled back and landed right on top of my jack stand, tipped over my jack, and i cracked my sideskirt. Nothing major. Cant see it. But I could hear it when my tires rub on it now. Doesnt really matter tho. Couldve been worse.
