Ok i pulled of my stock small wing for a OEM carbonfiber one. But im trying to decide if i should strip it and go all carbon fiber. Its not painted just primered from the factory. If anyone has pics of a fully carbonfiber one on a black evo please post up, or feel free to post coments. thanks

Only drawback to it that I see is that there are a few imperfections in the CF on the sides. Hope some one has pics been thinking about doing the same thing.

yes i see that now, i went ahead and sanded some of the primer, and where the carbon fiber wraps over the top the weave is not to nice looking. I guess it would be hard to make it perfect if impossable due to the contours. But im still undecide, help!!! Thats just on a small part, how do the sides look? thanks

I think that is why the sides are painted is due to the imperfection on certain contours of the side. There is a guy here that took off the red paint on his wing and it looks okay but pictures are deceiving. Got to see it in person.

no offense to plolivos...but the CF trunk wit the the stripped OEM spoiler doesnt appeal to me...if i saw that from far away i would think that you didnt have the money to paint your car...unless you also have a CF hood and black/GM wheels to go witht he theme...but bare CF on black...i wouldnt do it..why...its a black car...hell...people can barely tell its CF on that wing when you have a black car as it is...i say leave it

What really sucks is Mitsu is not making the FULL carbon fiber spoiler anymore. The new one has a high impact plastic for the end caps with the center section and inner sections still carbon fiber. I called Mitsu and they said the new version supercedes the older full carbon fiber spoiler.

I just had my old one replaced with the new version today due to the clear coat scratching a fading. I still wish they could have repaired my old one, but the damn spoiler is one piece.
