Back bumper licence plate gone?

Ok, who knows the law about bumper license plate? I see a lot of people putting the license plate on the windshield and of course I'm thinking this is illegal in some sort of way, but not sure.

The reason for this is, I was playing around with photoshop today and here is what I came up with.

It's real clean and I like it.

It is definately illegal for the plate to be in the windsheild. I've talk to a cop about it, and it's pretty much like having tinted windows- they won't waste their time pulling you over for it, but if they already got you, they might as well make your day a little worse. The back plate would definetley get you pulled over though.

BTW-looks cool!

What if they would allow molded rear bumpers with your plate # in it.

well, here is another picture I've done for the car. Just shaved everything off and lowered about 2.5 inches.

you have to get a popper kit that'll pop the door open for you.

$50, attaches to your alarm or could be used as a single unit.

not my cup of tea, this is the first vehicle that i have ever owned that i have no desire to lower. i just don't think there would be enough to be gained as a daily driver. no back plate is good if you want to rob a bank!. cops would swarm on you and give you as many tickets as they could and even invent some. here is some food for thought though. if you take a wrx wagon w/ plate on bumper and switch w/ rear bumper of saab 9-2x. w/ plate on hatch, there would be no place for a plate but would look really clean. already discussed this w/ one of my friends.

thanks mrbkkt1, i could always could count on your negativity on any thread. Yes, I'm planning on robbing a bank, that's why I want to do this. Yes, I like cops to swarm me.

yeh, we're talking about evo's here, hence the evo forum, not changing evo bumper with its cousin car 9-2x.
