evo seat
They couldn't make them too tight for the American market. I've said it before, Americans are the fattest people in the world (fact!)
But you can probably yank those out, sell them to somebody with a regular lancer, and buy a new set of either Sparco's or Recarro's.

I wonder if Recaro would let us trade the seats that come with the car with another set of their seats. That would be a good idea as long as the color's matched up.

I had the opportunity of a lifetime last year at the Chicago Auto Show. As a Mitsu salesman, I am invited to work at the show each year to find new prospects and field questions on our products. Last year we had a RH drive Euro-spec Evo VII on display. After the show, I was allowed to sit in the car and check everything out...which included starting and revving up the car. The seats are awesome, the side bolsters for your hips and torso are extremly aggressive. The reclining function is a wheel instead of a lever, and it provides micro-adjustment. They are VERY tight. I am 5'9", 145 lbs. and anyone bigger than me WILL have a tough time getting in or out of the car. As far as the pattern, it is a black/blue combo comprised of different sized triangles.

I'm 6'4" 210 so I am glad they're going to be larger seats. I don't care if the seats are larger overall, as long as they would still have side bolsters. something tells me that they won't though if they're the same as stock lancer seats. oh well. i'll have to get ganked by sparco for $1500
