stock, i've worked an STi and pushed an M3.

 

I'm surprise no one mention SRT4

 

All but Viper/ZO6 & Porsche Carrera Turbo, all on road race tracks. I have never had a 996 be able to stay with the Evo on a track, assuming it was stock & on stock tires. like my Evo. The new '05 997's have more power and should stay with, or out perform my '03 Evo, but who knows-there is a big difference between track performance & spec sheet performance.

 

Car and Driver as well as Road and Track publish running lists of tested cars perfomance stats. The Evo stacks up well. The problem we have is air temp. and getting the fuel the car was designed to use. I run 76 100 unleaded and it makes s difference. So far Camero's seem to be my cars favoite prey.

I was stock.

 

I was neck and neck with a 911 Turbo when he missed 3rd gear. Heard this VROOOOM as he floored it in neutral. I lost to a Z06 and a Ferrari F355, but the sound of those two engines at full throttle from behind was worth it.

 

I tried to get one of these to race me once, but I think dude was too nerveous about wrecking his dad's car or something. He started to pull off, I was in 2nd and he didn't get away from me at all, but he backed out too fast to really call it a race.

Maybe he didn't want any of the EVO!

Ferrari 550 Maranello

 

Put about 1/8 to 1/4 lap in a 20-minute session at Portland International Raceway on a Corvette ZR-1 with Kumho Victoracers running in the advanced/modified group. I can't remember if my tires were the Falken Azenis Sport or the stock Advans, but they weren't R compound and my car was stock.

 

 

yes i did man handle that srt4, i was ahead of it at least 1 1/2 car lengths cause i looked in the mirror and i could see his headlights.

 

SRT 4, WS6 TA, Mazda Miada, Dodge Ram, STI, Grand AM GT, Jetta 1.8T and your plenty of your everyday rice mobiles. It still amazes me how many WTF (saturns, toyota, scion, crap like that) cars even both trying. Only thing I can think of is they don't know what it is or want to see if it is really has bad has they heard.

 

Its the same thing as me trying to race that Ferrari, or a Viper. I know I'm going to get stomped, but I just want to see how bad they really are!

my boyfriend's modified STi, bwahahahahahaa! (but on his defense, he is hitting boost cut in 5th gear, which is his money gear, but i still nosed him out. )

 

I had some guy in a newer V6 Eclipse trying to race me the other day. I goosed it through third and when he finally caught up he asked me "Do you have a turbo in there?" I wanted to smack him upside the head with a Car and Driver magazine.
