I made an appointment today and went to the dealer to get the noise checked out. A tech, NOT a evo tech, told me the sound is normal. This guy doesnt even know what the hell he is talking about. I told him I rev match most of the time when I downshift, and he told me rev matching is bad for the car. To test this mechanic out, I asked him whats the avg mileage 03 evo owners brought their car for clutch replacement and he told me around 50k miles. What a joke. I cant believe this idiot is a mechanic. Wasted 2 hours of my time.

Even if this sound is normal, they should at least have the evo tech do the diagnostics. I guess he was off today, but service should have scheduled an appointment when the evo tech is available.
