New Thread: Mitsubishi Dealers who are going to mark up!
maybe, Maybe Not...
Hailz!
If I had known FOR SURE that I wanted the EVO 6 months ago... I might have tried to put down a deposit. I did not know until I got the recent news about the Mazda RX-8 being delayed till next summer. That is when I knew I wanted this car... NOW!
So... I have started to put out feelers to a few dealers and I now make a general post:
I am willing to pay FULL MSRP for an EVO with SUNROOF and large spoiler. I will pay CASH and drive it home to Reno, NV from anywhere in the country. Color is secondary, tho I do have a few favorites.
PM me or E-mail me with the details and Lets DO THE DEAL!

I just got off the phone with Irvine Mitsubishi and they told me that they are not sure what they will do since the price has not been determined yet but if there is a markup it wont be anything huge if there is one at all.
•California:
1. Roseville Mitsu. Roseville, CA
2. Sacramento Mitsu. Sacto., CA
3. Tuttle-Click Mitsu. Irvine, CA
4. Concord Mitsubishi, Concord, CA SF East Bay
Wow....good luck getting an Evo without price gouging in California
I live in Cali and considering we have the most dealerships, this comes as no surprise.
Like I mentioned in one of my posts; if you live in Cali and you are getting an Evo, PM me and I can probably get it to you at 30K straight up. You pick options and color, and pick it up at the docks.
I am still busy with current issues a.k.a. specific info, but next week I will find out all the info about this. Keep in touch through PM and I'll see what I can do. I cannot guarantee that I can get tons of Evos, as you all know, there won't be many. I will set my limit at 3 people now, and then if I can squeeze any in, I'll post here.

WIdealer,
I for one am a capitalist and can understand WHY dealers mark up. Some people who have called you dumb for selling at MSRP are overlooking an important detail. People from out of state may be willing to fly to your dealership to pick up said MSRP car. That is what's called extending your client base.
Now, I'm in a funny position. Right now I can't afford the evo...but that's only cause I'm unemployed. Now, if I get hired (which I have a feeling will be soon) at near what I was making before, I'll have no problem getting it. I'm just not willing to pay for something when I'm not employed at the moment (ain't this economy a *****--c'est la vie).
You never know, maybe I'll be giving you a call in the near future.
