Important: Mitsubishi Dealers who are going to mark up!
Nobody should be allowed to pay more than what Mitsubishi says the Evolution is worth.
This is for Dealers who are going to mark up even a penny more on top of MSRP.
I need everyones help in LF.com to find dealers who are infact price gouging on EVO's.
Please List:
•Dealership's name
•Location (city and state)
This way we wont do business with the rip-off dealers who think just because they can make an extra few thousand dollars off of what their already making off of a hot car that they can play with peoples emotions off of.
If you are infact any part of a sales team or employee of one of thease dealerships, your dealer name will be taken off the list when you offer the Evolution @ MSRP or lower. Thanks for your cooperation!
*So Far*:
•Arizona:
1. Mark Mitsubishi
Phoenix AZ
•California:
1. Roseville Mitsu. (Thanks for letting us know Jay)
Roseville, CA
2. Sacramento Mitsu.
Sacto., CA
3. Tuttle-Click Mitsu.

4. Concord Mitsubishi,

•Connecticut:

Greenwich, CT
2. Colonial Mitsubishi

Well i got a call today from my mits dealer and he had 1 allocation and i'll be picking up the car @ MSRP. He did confirm brembo vented brakes custom recarco seats big wing with carbon fiber FMIC and sunroof direct from the mitsu pages only thing is the it's blue and he can't change the color. I guess mits is alloting the dealers what mitsu wants to give them. I asked for yellow he said he couldn't seems weird. This guy is no sales person either he is the sales manager
Yeah, the initial batch is JUST what Mitsubishi is giving them. I talked with my sales manager today, and he said that Mitsubishi didn't give him a call, didn't ask what colors he wanted, nothing! It just showed up on his order sheet that is sent to them that he was getting 4 Evo's, in this color, and with these options. I won't be surprised if a lot of dealers get together to swap cars to satisfy customers.
Fred Beans Mitsubishi
Doylestown, PA
just ask for the sales manager
1-215-340-7950
around 2k over (gonna see if the'll drop that if i let them keep it on the floor for 2 weeks)
edit: might be 5k over

I'm all for that! The price you see is the price you pay.

I started this thread to watch out for the dealer who will be marking up, and your not, and thats fine. I'd rather see somebody pay MSRP, than having a dealer price gouge.
It just really pissed me off to see one "Internet" Manager posting about his $10,000 Markup, thats definately NOT RIGHT! Later down the road im sure Mitsu. dealers will be able to come down from MSRP to fit my budget and get me in an Evolution. A good example of an awesome dealership is Irvine Subaru being up front about $1500 over invoice for a WRX STi and this is when the car is first coming out!!! Considering thats probably going to be $1000-$1500 under MSRP.

Get real
This thread is a joke.
Last I looked this was the good Old
a place where the American businessman can sell products for what he wishes, he can even refuse to sell his product to someone .
Good old capitalism runs rampant and thank God for it , If you have fogotten here is economics 101 basics:
Demand vrs Supply ; as demand goes up supply falls and prices rise, and visa versa.
A dealer sees an opportunity to make an extra $50,000 to feed his family and get a return on his business...God bless em especially if YOU part with your hard earned cash.
Don't Like it? Don't buy it. Pretty Damm simple
If you look hard enough you might find a dealer who for one reason or another; business policy, religion or even personal beliefs is not tempted to,or will not charge over MSRP. I happen to be such an Individual. And according to some I am an Idiot
for passing on an opportunity. (Believe me my business could use the extra revenue.)
If you don't like the policy that your local dealer has regarding EVO's , well use your feet thats what they are for, and stop your damm wining. Perhaps you would prefer to live in a nation more socialized. Hey learn French and move to Canada or France. or wise up and be a smart informed consumer. Don't waste others time with threads such as this.

So why are you here complaining about this thread, first you said you have no problem selling at MSRP. Then you said if you see the opp. to sell a car for more than MSRP your going to take advantage of that... I find that pretty dishonest.
No wonder why your business needs the extra revenue, nobody is probably buying cars from you, and theres probably a reason behind that.
If anyone is whining its you, this is also the country of Negotiation!
It might not be illegal to mark up on a car, but its sure as hell not business ethics...
If you dont like what your reading on this board, then dont read it, just leave!
You hate it because your probably one of the dealerships who is infact marking up on Evo's. Their are dealers out there who are selling MSRP on Evolutions (such as MarkF's dealership). BTW which dealer do you work for? Ill be sure to add you to the list.

how many threads?
How many threads are going to be started with this same topic? We all know that they are charging to much... They're not breaking any laws and you're not going to change it because you might not be willing to pay that much but someone will... they spend alot of time and money to see how much they can charge... I think they know better then the few of us how much the consumer is willing to pay... remember its their job!!!
Something else to think about... most of the people in here can barely (and some can't at all) afford the Evo at msrp and those are the ones doing most of the complaining. But there are alot of Evo fans who can afford the Marked up price and are more then willing to pay it to say they had on of the first.
knows this... A bunch of people in this forum crying about it is not going to change their mind.
Lets find a better topic to talk about... like how to improve our cars or things we can change..

WIDealer, this is a free country, so leave if you dont like the thread. No one is forcing you to read it.
And yes, since you are so proud of your beliefs, please leave us your name, number and dealer name so that we can include you in the list of dealers who charge over MSRP.
