Well for some reason none of the pics are showing up for me, but it sounds like it's pretty bad. Just remember if you catch who did this that when you get your revenge make sure you're wearing gloves and have a secure place to hide the 'tools of revenge' i.e. weapons. Then run them over with the car (before it's fixed, that is).

i install CCTVs and hard drive recorders for my day job......i have two ideas for the car.

1) a camera that can see 180 degrees mounted in the dash hooked it up to a motion detector so that when anyone comes within 5 feet if the car it will record to the harddrive.

2) get a wireless camera that you setup away from your car so you car see everything around it and mount a harddrive in the car.

as soon as i have a chance at work im going to look for parts to built one of these systems.....if i get enough intrust for one of this systems maybe i'll sell them

 

that would mean you would have to setup the second camera before you would go into the mall. I don't like that idea in my opinion. The camera mounted in the dash sounds like a good idea. Maybe another on the back dash or something. Anyways to get a camera on the dash that can view 360 degrees? or maybe setting up two cameras in the dash one facing the front and one facing the back. Only concern is if the camera can see through 15% tint.

Karma is a *****. Those who did this to your car will suffer whether or not the cops arrest them. It sucks to have your property destroyed, but if you let it eat at you, the damage will be worse. This I know from experience.

the police have the rock but i don't think they got any prints off of it

The mirror might be a better thing to try and dust. Or the hood or door. The rock is a little too rough of a surface to lift prints from, without someone with FBI-type or higher skills. If that mirror was found inside the car like it is shown in the pic, I would dust that thing first. The hood and door might have prints on them because after they did the damage, they might have felt over the areas to get a better grasp of how ectensive the damage is. Sounds stupid, but that's how stupid people think.
