stock blow off pic

stock blow off pic

could someone please post a clean pic of the stock blow off and the area around so i can see how to put it back in . my friend got one of those stupid RFL blow offs and its killing his gas milage so we are putting the stock one back on for the winter while he sells the rfl and gets a type s to recirc. thanks

anyone?
i just need a good clean pic of how the stock bov sits. we put my buds back on cause he doesnt want his rfl anymore. and i put it in and it works fine. but our friend with a evo is sayin we put it in backwards.. but id just like a pic of how its supposed to go to see if we did it right. i dont know how it goes cause my friend had some tuner place install the bov.

The side part goes to the intake, bottom goes to the pressure source IE Ic pipe.

ok and the wastegate or vacum line should be facing up/on top?
we have it on the top and and when the bov goes off it flutters and our friend said that it shouldnt flutter? he has a mbc, intake cone filter under the hood.

and pic would be nice ... thanks....

anyone .. cause now the boost is dropping to 16 or so when we where racing. our bud with a dsm said it lookd fine but we dunno

It's in backwards. The pressure side (8" long curved hose-small diameter) goes to the bottom of the bov. the side outlet goes into the intake tract between the MAF sensor and the turbo housing.

Diaphram should be facing the radiator.

ok .. heres how i have it set up. 1 conectd to the UICP and 1 to recir spot on the MAF tubing to turbo. then the big flatt surface wit hthe little inlet for that like 1/2 inch hosing is facing up? its like on top upwards. liek aiming to the sky. should it be the other way and facing to the left?casue isnt that the only other way?

That big flat surface is the diaphram.

It should be facing the radiator or front of the car.

oh ok .. so it should be sidways not up... guess ill fix it tomarrow .. it was workn pretty fine tho ... it just fluttered. . sounded kinda cool
