I notice there are a lot of cheap stuff on Ebay for the Evo 8. Ralliart grounding kit $10, Strut bar $10, Tein S tech springs $10, Exedy clutch for $250 and some other stuff. Is there something wrong here?

yeah man, be wary of some of the things sold on ebay. Not everything is the real thing.

 

but sometimes you could get a bargain. that's why we all go there.

I use to buy honda stuff from ebay, since you could always mod those cheap parts, but evo's so feaniky.

most ralliart stuffs are not actually from ralliart, if you see almost every sellers selling the same ralliart stuffs, that meant that is not authentic parts from ralliart!
but the the tein s-tech, I think the starting bid is $10 doesn't mean that will sold for $10....because it's an auction, so the price won't firm till the last mins.

 

Exeddy has a warning about buying "supposed" parts on auction sites due to the influx of inferior knockoff parts. Just be careful of what it is your buying. Like the old saying goes, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

 

also those exedy clutches are like the OE clutches, they arent any better than stock

 

If you had to ask, you should already know. Of course its a scam. No disrespect, but I thought people already knew about Ebay B.S.

Back when Ebay was new, people could score stuff at a great deal because other people would throw stuff on there with no reserve or somthing like that. Now large companies are pulling this B.S. to make it look like the same thing, but it's not.

Don't ever buy anything on Ebay that 1) is expensive, 2) should be expensive. You will get ripped off. I haven't seen any data on this, but I would say there is a very large percentage of people who get scammed on Ebay because they didn't listen to reason.
