Evo with dual exhaust...?

Has any thought been put into a dual exhaust/rear bumper for the evo? Does anyone think that it would look good?

what you think?

I think it'll look good, but why? People'll laugh at you for having dual exhaust.

because ppl will know that its all for show. Its pretty lame if u ask me, kinda like the SRT-4 . Why have more bent pipings and restrict that straight pipe flow? Its not like we have v-6s in our car, its an i-4 with one exhaust manifold and 1 downpipe and there should only/always be one exhaust.

yeh... it's not designed from the factory like s2000. They worked hard to put that dual exhaust on s2000, with 4 banger.

You know, the veilside bumper will look good with dual exhaust.

But it's a 4 banger turbo, you only have one exhaust manifold, unlke some other v6 with 2 different manifold or even v8 with 2 seperate manifold to have dual exhaust.

But whatever makes you happy. I think it'll look good with a different bumper. They always look good.

Single is always better. Less weight, more power gain. Remember that.

I don't think power gain is an issue here, since turbo cars don't need as much back pressure as n/a cars.

you could pull it off, but it'll look silly. Anyone who knows car will look at you funny,

i dont think turning it dual will cause more restriction, since after all most places would just cut a hole in the side of the pipe after the axel and just put a pipe straight off towards the other side of the car and a 90 degree to put it out the back... but that will more or less just be a useless pipe that wont see much exhaust flow and stay rather shiney. also, thats just dead weight

It would probably be more like a "Y" at the rear diff

yeh, but with smaller piping on the second one with the matching muffler.

y pipe could be used where the muffler back connector is.

Also, you probably have to custom fabricate the hangers and mounts on the other side to support the second one.

that's a lot of money and work for something that doesn't even work.
