it really depends on where you live.

that and what you have in your car.

dealers always do the wholesale price trade in, so you could probably sell them for $2500 more than what dealer is trying to give you.

Trading in the car is the easiest way to do it, yet you'll definitely get the least amount of $$$. When you trade it in, regardless of the condition, they pay assuming they'll have to front the $ to get it into *showroom* condition, which they rarely do anyway

if you in hawaii, i wouldn't sell for less than 25k, not too many evo here. trade in is just like buying, you have to negotiate. best thing to do is negfotiate price first, then trade. never do both @ the same time. they will take from one pocket to put in your other.

Please don't tell me your trading your Evo in for a M3?, When I went back to get my car detailed, cuz they had to take all the stickers of it, they had a blue M3 inside the garge, I was talking to the sales man, and asked him what's this doing in here, he told me the guy is trading it in for a Evo, so in other words, the M3 might have great handleing, but it's not that fast bro, but that's my .02, best of luck to you.

Hey GTR:

How are you doing? I am considering that as well!

BMS: I am fully aware that I will be taking a step in performance in certain aspects. However, the M3 is a totally category. I could conceive your rationale if I wanted to trade the Evo for an STI. I am looking for a different car that is all. The Evo has been great, 30000 miles and Zero problems!

Thanks,
