bought new EB evo, need advice....
^I highly second that^ I never liked BBY, but this new Electric Blue looks just like the Spectra Blue Mica on my cousin's Celica, which I absolutely love. And yes, read up on some stickies around here, because if you're complaining about a stiff ride, you bought the wrong car my friend

You should look to the inside of your driver side door and read the warning stickers first. The Advans are NOT for cold and slippery conditions. Buy a set of good all-season or snow tires depending on how much snow you get where you live. The all-season tires have softer sidewalls and will soften up your ride. If you don't like the stiff suspension you bought the wrong car. The stock airbox and bov are already very efficient. You will want to check that the intercooler hose clamps are on tight so they won't come lose and scare of hell out of you and make the car run like ****.
The best investment to get more performance at this point is to buy a nice full exhaust after you break the car in properly. This means no launches and staying below 5k rpm until about a 1000 miles or so. If you want to facilitate the breakin process change out the synthetic oil and use regular 5w30 oil during the first couple of thousand miles. I did this and my engine produces more power than the average evo givent the same mods.
If you are paranoid about the warranty don't change anything because they WILL void your warranty. The evo is a great car but Mitsubishi is a shady company to do business with.
Good luck and don't crash!

your ride is stiff... aren't the 05's like 20% softer?? man i'd rather have that... about the trunk like stated before thats common. as for tires. i heard several things about all season and just picking summer and winter tires.. me personally i'm gonna use summer and winter tires. but erally its all what you wanan do
don't worry guys i don't intend to put in any mods before the break in- i just think the sound of the BOV is really cool, how cld i have that sound, do u guys recommend intake (of course after break in), i reaqd here in the board that an intake brings out the sound of the BOV aside from the other advantages of it: i'll post pics in a bit, it'll have the pic of the salesman though
