he had the PIAA plasmas before on his 99 GST but could not find them in h11 for his EVO.....
so he opted for HID's for fogs....and upgraded his stockers to 6000k....heh

(this is from memory, might be wrong)
piaa ion crystal -- yellowish. Used to have these.
piaa plasma ion YELLOW -- (yellow)
the 2nd one is the one pictured. I was surprised. The bulbs are themselves yellow. I believe the older plasma ions were a clearish, multi-colored tint.
they are not 110w. the label says [japanese]55w>110w[japanese]
which either means 2 x 55w bulbs = 110 w or their 55w bulb is equivalent to a 110w builb. all marketing.

I forgot where my buddy bought his foglights from but i'll check....(btw...they are HIDS, not just bulbs)
I purchased my HID conversion KIT for my low beams at http://xenondepot.com ....u'll see my EVO under the galleries section.....they say it's an 03, but i actually have an 05....with base halogens....
but...they do carry an H11 kit as well (and it's a true Phillips Kit), which would fit in the EVO fogs......color is very nice...
hope this helps...

no worries.....in that case....
european autosports would be your best best to get the bulbs close to ur HIDs....here's a link with an EVO with their bulb....
http://www.europeanautosport.com/optik.htm
i don't even think Sylvania makes a Silver Star in H11...we didn't find any.....

Yah that's what I want to know where I Can find Yellow PIAA's. Hey Wicked05 seems the Base headlights don't have the same projector as the OEM HID's do? My cutoff line is much more purple.

whereas my beam is not as solid (it is a bit scattered)..., but it still has pretty good coverage..... I adjusted my beam lower a bit as to not blind oncoming traffic....
when i bought the car....i wanted HID but didn't want the other options the SSL Package came with.....unecessary weight....
so i opted for this conversion instead....
an OEM HID conversion would have been better, too, but the cost was too much (new headlights and harness)...i didn't think it would've been worth it......

i found yellow hid's. they are 3000k and about 600$ shipped, but they will only work in the MR headlights. so once I get those i'll get the yellow hid's.
