I'd like to believe that button is for ACD, but I'd have to trust Mr. Hanson over "newbies" claiming it IS ACD. Now, we could all be proven wrong, but I'm betting on Mr. Hansen's opinion on this one.

one of my friends got to drive the car in Thailand as well.
Said it was awsome, then he went out and drove their GrpN and GrpA cars on a rally stage and kicked their champions asses in their own cars. They were very suprised because they though that US did not have any good rally drivers.
riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

I know for sure that Mitsubishi dealerships will offer the ACD and AYC as future opitions in the Evos. Why are they doing this? Well as we know... the Evo and STi have been main competitiors. Subaru is coming out with their new and improved STi over the summer this year, once that happens, to raise competition, ACD and AYC will come with the Evos. The 2004 STi is coming with DCCD. DCCD is similar to ACD where as DCCD can put more power to the rear wheels for faster accelerations. Its a little more complicated that that. But i cant wait to see the competition in the US market amongst these two cars.
You can check out the specs and read the pros and cons on both the Evo and STi @ www.modernracer.com ----> just click to the sidebar on New Car Archives. Have fun
Just don't keep your heads down, its the first release of the Evo in the US. Given some time, you will have no doubts about that car.

Good link. It has the 0-60 times and 1/4 mile times for both the U.S. Evo and 2004 STi among other stats, 60-0 braking, g's, etc.

So what? The USDM STi with 300 hp will not be faster then the JDM STi with 315 hp. They are going to be very close to each other and this gives us a very good idea as what to expect. Still a good link.
