guys anyone know how many gallons are left in the fuel tank when the low fuel light comes on?

2-3 gallons..i think

 

I would say at least 2 gallons. When the light first comes on, I can put a little under 12 gallons in.

 

When that light goes on i try to shift before turbo spools , and i think about 2-3 , my light goes off then back on is that normal ?

you have 14 gallon and some change in there, your light comes on at 11 gallons.

 

Ummmmmmmm yeah it's normal, considering the "level" of the gas changes depending on the gas sloshing around in your tank or driving up/down hill. Normally uphill it reads less gas than downhill, and it reads less around turns regardless of which way you are turning. However, the level is made to try to compensate for normal driving by not reacting very quickly...

 

After my low fuel light came on, i drained the whole tank....therewas only about 8 liters left.
I think it would be nice to drain your tank once a year to get rid of water underneath the tank. There was about a very small amout of water that came out.

 

My light doesn't come on at 11 gallons, i've filled up alot on 11 gallons and its never been on, my light comes on when i'm at like 13 or barely any left lol.

 

Word of advice, do not drive the car hard with low fuel because you will lean out the engine. Especially if you're at the track...

 

Mine comes on when I am 12 gallons down. The manual states the capacity is "approximately 14 gallons."

 

Mine doesn't come on until 12 gallons.

 

uhm... it should be a 4 gallon reserve.. that's what's been said. so the light should pop at you when you're down to 4 gallons which gives you about 100 miles driven nicely. i'd say this is correct cuz i drove many miles with the light on this past weekend while going to norcal and i was still good, my fill up cost me 30 bucks tho :\

 

thanks for all the repiles guys.. based on my observation i think theres 2 gallons left when the light comes on... my light came on yesterday and i drove about 15 miles on it and then refilled... i refilled it back up with 12.9 gallons

 

I've went 35 miles with it on.

 

1 way to work is 40.3 miles .. I've driven with the light on the whole time .. so I recon its 2 gallons n some change ..
