You just can't get good reception on state line where the radio cuts off.

 

yup...the shorty will give you crappier reception...but lets face it, the radio car look sucks :P

 

Well at first I thought it was the shorty giving me problems, but then I threw the stocker back on to test and I lost the same stations in all the same spots. So just by size alone I'm sure it's not 100% as good as the stocker, but I haven't noticed any difference and I listen to the radio 90% of the time.

 

This antenna sucks!!! I don't recommend it to ANYBODY, I live about 20 miles from Dallas and can barely even get those stations anymore.

 

I live in East Buddah, but my reception never got any worse.

 

any short style antenna will give you crappier reception..there's not as much material there to get more reception than the stock antenna

 

Thanks everyone...I just ordered a s2k antenna; heard good things about those. Seems to be around the middle between a stocker and a perrin. Another question..I have the Infiniti sound system ( which I love) , can I just change out the head unit? I would like to listen to MP3s...thanks.
