i bought my 05 before november 1st so i got free maintenance. what will happen is that they will send you a paper in the mail a month or so after purchasing your car. the free maintenance is every 4k miles i think, or is it 5? i don't know, i'll have to look @ my paper to see. but pretty sure it's 4k

5000 miles.. not 4K

Do yourself a favor and change your own oil between dealer service @ 2500mi.

Also it sounds like entrapment for those modded evo's. There's no hiding your mods when you go in there....

Yeah I got the free maintenance from mitsu and the dealership made a mistake on the bill of sale and gave me lifetime oil changes.

I change oil every 5k anyway. I did it with my sti and now with the evo. There is no downside to that.

Also they extend the 3 years 36000 miles bumper to bumper warranty to 5 years 60000 miles.. pretty damn good too.

i purchased my 05 in the beginning of december and i already have close to 3k miles. anyway, my dealer offers the free scheduled maintenance but i think im going to stick to doing the oil myself. my reason is due to the fact that i know some service techs at the dealer i purchased from and i would not trust them with my car due to the fact that they would take it out for joy rides

Anyone know if the free maintanence takes care of the 15k, 30k maintanence too? Or do they just give you free oil changes every 5k and thats it ?

I'm sure it's just oil change and air filters.
