I was on my way to meet a few friends and out of nowhere a Milwaukee was behind me at a turn signal. So the light turns green and I set off then all of a sudden BAM he hit the lights. So I pull over. The cop comes up to the car and goes thru the normal BS and asks if I know why he pulled me over. My response "no". Whats kinda funny he starts looking in the car and just blurts out "I would love to have one of these, but being a 2nd year cop the city doesn't pay enough. I was looking at these when they first came out but wasn't able to take a test drive, well I guess I can just envy yours, have a nice night and put your seat belt on." My response "Sure no problem, if you ever wanted to go for a ride pull me over again." He kinda laughed. So when we were heading down the street he takes off like a bat out of hell. I was thinking to myself "I'm pretty sure the Evo would rape the Crown Vic"

These cops are becoming more rare these days. Too bad I never got his name.

 

You should've let him drive it, can't hurt to have a friend in uniform to watch your back for future tickets!

I was pulled over for my wing in New Berlin which is Waukesha county. Obviously Milwaukee police are Milwaukee county. And to tell you the truth I thought about it right as he hit the lights and then 2 seconds later I completly forgot about it. I'm sure it would have worked talking with the cop a little more because I know for a fact MPD can't stand dealing with posh PD's.

 

Your Evolution would have vialated the Crown Victoria eight ways from sunday. I always wanted to get into a high speed chase just to see if I could win. Good thing I have more self-control than that. Cool cop though, fortunate too. And hey, WEAR YOUR SEATBELT!

u mean there are cops out there that will pull u over for our wings? is it really illegal? or just depends on the state?

 

A while ago somebody posted they got pulled over in NY in their Evo for the "Whale Tail", which is ridiculous, because Mitsu couldn't sell the car in the state if it was not legal. Often times police have latitude on things like that, and unfortunately, a few of them take it to the extreme...
