What Evo is best????

with all the evo rumors flying around about price power and options + features i am not sure what to do. i might be purchasing an evo but what would be better worth the money and time. i will be using the car for SCCA soloI +II and , or SCCA Pro-Rally so it will be modified. but i still want to drive it on the street(before Pro-Rally) so should i go to E.I. and get and evo VII RS or RSII. if not one of those should i wait for the new evo and get that??

In my case the best EVO is the one that I can actually buy and drive, which narrows it to the VII or VIII. Since the VIII is even easier to obtain, then I will go with the VIII.

Rs has cheap steel wheels, Less brembos, std. lancer seats, no air condition, and etc... RsII is like a gsr less radio with brembos and everything. RsII is from europe and rs is ready to be rallyed so it comes with throw away parts such as rims, seat, brakes.

If you're gonna drive it on the street as well, then I say go for the RS from EI. That way you have the better gearing for rally use as well as the ACD, which I don't think the US model will have, and it will be street legal.
