Does it matter that they're 2 different systems?

I know what AYC is but I'm not completely clear on what ACD is. Could I get a quick clarification so I can know if it is what I think it is?

My poll is better.

Do you want ACD and AYC on your Evo?

ACD = active center differential. Mitsubishi has a center diff that has 3 modes of torque transfer between the front and rear differentails. Tarmac, which sends more torque rearward. Gravel which keeps it around 50/50 . Snow, which sends more frontward.

These settings can help if you need more or less under/oversteer.
Due to the center diff having to house clutch like plates to vary the torque the diff has the downside of weight and the side effect of being electronic not mechanical in feeling.

Anyone want to add anything to that?

I take it that they are releasing the specs at least in 10 days. As for when the cars go on sale, I dunno.

How do some of you vote for AYC. It comes as a package ACD/AYC or ACD alone

What do you mean? Car feels heavy? Well, haven't driven an Audi yet but my Evo sure feels heavy.
