Am watching Nopi Tunervision, they were just showing Steve Johnson's Evo 8. Was silver w/ a Veilside body kit, awesome looking!!! Is Steve a member of this board? If so...reveal yourself!!!

 

Yeah I saw that and was thinking the same thing about if he was a member here..

The car is a bit overkill for my tastes, but I always give props to cars that get coverage.

 

I didn't see it on TV, but I think the veilslide body kit is a bit overkill aswell. It's just a little too extreme for me, but if he got his car on TV. He must be doing somthing right..

I saw it twice already,and the car is a bit much. He said he had $40,000 in mods! He also said he was looking to get, I think, 500 0r 600 hp, and that he already had well over 400. I remember that he said he had HKS cams but I don't remember much more except the green valve cover, the over the top body kit, and the video camera mounted in the rear bumper so he could watch the faces in the cars he was beating. Pretty creative mods in many respects, but sort of a weird combo of pure show along with the "go."

 

that veilside kit wasn't the full kit, it was the bolt on partial kit, with the wing.

It was nice, but I still don't understand why he painted his valve cover green. It was ugly.

 

he had the greddy (for sure) t56 (i think) turbo. and of course that crazy veilside kit, it actually looked small on his car... i guess i'm used to seeing it in widebody form. but i mean it's a good kit as far as downforce it concerned. he also had other stuff that i thought was stupid, but i forgot now, prolly cuz i thought it was stupid.

Yes that is Steves Car he has a Greddy T-67 turbo kit, Standalone, 272 HKS cams, and a whole bunch of other things that he has built on his car. I belive last time I spoke to him he had 497AWHP. I never seen a dyno sheet for it but it is a beast. He raced a 450WHP Supra on the highway and from a roll pulled away from him! So it is running really good!

cool guy. and yes he has a loooottt of money on that car , yes it makes about 500 to 600 to the wheels.
the car is sick,lots of jdm cool little stuff one thing is for sure the car isn`t stock.
