Warranty Work = Sick Feeling

Just dropped off my MR at the dealership to get my spoiler fixed. There's a spot on it that wasn't painted. I'm sick to my stomach. The body shop isn't attached to the dealership, its about 3 miles down the road. I know some snot nosed kid is going or some ***** car salesman is going to drive it over and red line it every chance they get. If those Jerry's Kids would have painted it the first time I wouldn't have to worry about this sh*t.

You should have checked the mileage before then to see if they have driven, if they are just painting it then it shouldn't be driven. I had a spot like that on my wing and they just gave me a new one..

why didn't the dealership let you just take the car to the body shop the only thing the dealership needs to do is ok them to paint it and that they will pay for it

Thats why you leave a little post-it note on the gauge cluster with your current mileage....its an unoffensive way to let people know you are watching the mileage and will have someone's rear end if there's mileage unaccounted for
