will a turbo timer void my warranty any help

doing anything to the car in the dealer's eyes is voiding the warranty. Just explain to them that it is to preserve the life of your turbo and is not a performance mod.

 

actually you really don't need a turbo timer. Just let your car idle for 20 seconds after you've driven it hard and I mean real hard. If you're just driving around without pushing it, you can just turn off the car.

 

what if you have to take a dump and you've been driving for 3 hours straight on the highway?

I would say get it. And get type -0, type 1's too much work and also taps into the ecu.
