I believe they have some factories in USA. They have some in japan. As I know of, only the evo, ralliart and lancer are actually made in japan. Eclipse, Galant etc. are made in mexico

No. There is one factory in the U.S. It makes the Eclipse, Galant, and Endeavor.
The Lancer, Outlander, Montero, Montero Sport come from Japan.
the Diamante comes from Austrailia.

People say our ads only helped sell records and not cars, so Deustch ad account is out. Supposedly that forced Finbarr to make his move. Damn, and things were starting to look up too. Hopefully they'll get someone else with just as much charisma and vision.

This is wrong information. They have one factory in the USA in Normal, IL. This factory will be forced to shut down soon because they are not selling cars. This factory is responsible for building the Eclipse, Eclipse Spyder, Galant, Endeavor. The other factory is in Japan. This factory builds the lancer, Montero, and Outlander.

The Montero Sport and Diamante have been discontinued. After this model year, the Montero will be discontinued.

The credit division MMCA will be also forced to shut down as well. Hugh losses along will little or no sales, even then the sales are for cheap financing and there is no money being made at 0% or 1.9%.

The best thing they can do is shut down North American operations and distribute their products through Chrysler dealerships like they did in the 80's.

Mitsubishi is the next Daewoo.

I don't think 05 GSR is all that far off. But, I don't think Mits will go away any time soon. If Mits were to fall through. I really think Chrysler would buy Mits at a dirt cheap price and take over the whole company instead of just the small percentage they own or did own. Why would they buy Mitsu? Because they have too much invested in the Lancer/neon platform, the new Raider(dakota), and the new smart car platform. I cannot see Chrysler abandoning all of that R and D that went into these cars.

But, the new guy heading up Mitsu was in charge of the Normal, IL plant. His name is Richard Gilligan. Don't think he really holds a chance against Finbar's abilities, but who knows. From what I have heard this guy started out as an assembly line tech for Ford and has worked his way up the corp. ladder. So....only time will tell.

Just to let everyone know, not that this good, but Dec. sales were up 24% from November. So that is at least a spark of light at the end of a long black tunnel!

That is just a dumb retarded comment. Do you know who Finbar even is and what he has done in his lifetime??? Obviously not! Go educate yourself and then speak!

Mitsu is not gonna go away that simple, unlike daewoo who didnt have any "nice market" or "that special car" like mitsu has, it's not gonna be that easy. As I recalled, nissan and other sufferd the same, but they got out... the greatest thing to happen to mitsu is the evo, do you really think if there going under that they would bring the MR to the states? Or the possible evo IX? Mitsu is in financial problems, but they can get out in due time.

UNLESS MMC says so, MMNA is here to stay.
