Well, I don't have anything to compare here...but I got lucky once. Got a ticket going 85 in a 70 on my Ducati. When she (the cop) told me what they clocked me at...I just grinned and said "OK"...all the while thinking how lucky I was since I was probably doing over 100 for most of the trip. So, I almost had a ticket worth reporting....

They just raised the fines for speeding in Bouder.

Between 5 and 19mph over -- was $100, now $300
Greater than 20mph over -- was $300, now $1000

My last ticket was for 69 in a 45 (read 24 over). It only ended up being 4 points and a $129 fine, including court costs.
It will really suck if I do that again this year!

Wow...A lot of you guys are getting lucky as hell. Had you'd been caught in VA, you would been walking home without your liscense. I had a 600 dollar fine for doing 80 in a 55 and lost my liscense for 90 days. Perhaps it's because of my prior tickets but, some of you guys are getting nailed doubling the speed limit. At court a guy had to spend some weekend jail time for doing 100 in 55 + fines. Virginia loves speeders.

I didn't get a ticket on this, but I blew past a KY state trooper doing 130+ on the highway. I caught a glimpse of him on the entrance ramp.

Needless to say I wasn't going to slow down to see if he tagged me

See I have been pulled over about 60 times but due to the fact that MY pops a cop nothing has ever gone on my record... The only reason i got the 108 in a 50 is because it was through a city and i changed lanes without signaling... I know a girl who had a 1500$ dollar ticket and had hers dropped to continued without a finding... When im givin the oppertunity to say my side ill just say i wasnt doing more than 93 .. i was in 3rd gear and thats about what it tops out at.... and i was told by pops never to argue because someone who argues with him always gets a ticket and he'll say whos your dad .. lada lada lada and so on ... plus ill go in with my postal badge around my neck .. lil extra help lol... considering this is literally my first offense.. it should work.

i thought my 92 in a 65 was pretty bad. the ticket was only $285, but i fought it due to the officers method of "pacing" (1/2 mile back in heavy traffic, while coming off of a mountain) i won, so that is a really good thing. this was about 3 years ago though. Idaho= jerk-offs.

I can vouch for the guy on the RC51 getting a ticket for 205 in a 65. Read that **** in the news. and it was a well built bike by the way. they only way they could radar him was by a helicoptor. they guy in the helicoptor thought his radar was broken when he seen the speed the bike was going.

I got a 22 pt ticket for: drag racing, exhibition of speed, no insurance, 135 in a 45 zone, and breaking a county noise ordinance after 11pm. That was on my Suzuki TL1000R street bike majorly modded with almost 140hp to the rear wheel. I did a wheelie past an unmarked cop while riding next to my buddy on a cbr929rr. Went to court (with an awesome lawyer) to fight it and got it dropped to 2 pt defective vehicle and around $300 in fines. That was more than 4 years ago. Not in an EVO but it is still a topic of conversation with all the guys half a decade later.

Well had court last Fri and things went well. My lawyers buddy showed up ( undercover S.T.) and he talked to the other trooper. we ended up going into the Clerks office and ended up paying 300$ . No driving to endanger and no changing lanes.. just court cost and 350 to my lawyer.. so the total price was the amount of the ticket without the ticket and the surcharge... Still a step 9 ... ha

I got bagged doing 44 in a 25. 189$ for the ticket, 250$ surcharge to change it to a no point ticket, and 33$ court fee. grand total= too much.

Just went to court for that yesterday. So gay... no points atleast
