About 4 years ago I got nailed in central Washington doing "110+" is what the cop said. I was lucky cause I had been riding the fuel cutoff for awhile which was 132. He said that it took him almost 5 miles to catch up and the only reason I didn't end up in jail was that we were 30 miles or so from the nearest town. It endend up being a negligent driving and $485 fine. Yeah, seeing lights behind you at that speed pretty much sucks! '03 Evo-still lookin

Be careful, cops have 3 things that are faster than your EVO: Radios, radar, and bullets.

I got tagged doing 110 in a 50 mph zone. I got a lawyer (lawyer was a buddies friend). I payed $300 to lawyer to appear in court on my behalf. Ticket was dropped to a parking violation somehow. Payed court costs, and that was all. No points at all. Lucky.

This guy was nailed doing 145 on I-94 in Wisconsin. His fines totaled $1,230. He was driving a WRX.
How much do you think this gentleman had to pay????? https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=80164

If your going 100+mph and you see a cop clocking you, you might as well keep going past two exit and then exit off and hide.

My most expensive ticket was probably a 400+ dollar ticket... I was on my way back to Boston from NY on Merritt racing with my room mate who drives an M3 trying to see how fast we could make the trip back... we were going about 135-140 at night and we didnt see the cop! Crazy stuff! so we slammed on the brakes like crazy and we managed to get clocked at 100 or so... Well yeah thats my most expensive ticket...

Got a ticket in my '93 Probe GT in 1998 doing 127mph in a 55. I had a clear stretch of highway to pass so I got a run at it and passed 2 semis and 2 other vehicles on HWY 29 in Wisconsin, before it went to 4 lanes. When I finally go around them I pulled back in my lane and the car that was coming at me was a cop. I saw his lights immediately but just kept going at the posted speed limit by then. He pulled me over about 5 minutes later. I told him I was just passing the trucks and he lectured me on how it wasn't safe at those speeds. Being a young smartass at the time I told him I had Z rated tires which were safe up over 150mph. I got a $593 ticket and 6 points off my license. I contested it due to my passing a bunch of vehicles and having a clean record to that point and got three points back with no reduction in fine. It's funny because that car would redline in 5th at 131mph. Only had the Evo up to 140mph. Too scared to go faster than that.

I have a video of me doing a top speed run and once I hit 155 or so I went right by a state trooper sitting in the middle lane. My radar detector went crazy and I didn't lift off until about 10 miles down the road... I'm all set with that ticket, and I havn't done it since.

got a 106 (glad I saw the cop and had the brakes locked up) in a 45 in my civic, not the evo. Ticket started at just over a grand and I fought it down but couldnt get it tossed out for 287.00 and 2 points. Stopped being dumb since then.

where is this "supposed" video. I want to see it. Caugh it out.

Anyway, my gf got a reckless driving ticket. she drive an evo too. That and a speeding ticket.

The cop is notorious for being an ******* for import people.

Everyone I know got caugh by him. His signature move is being .5 inch from your bumper from 3 exits away. What a ****.

anyway, he could burn in hell, meanwhile I want to help her (50 over 55mph) but can't see any way out of those tickets. He even gave her a ticket for not using her blinkers.

He needs to goto hell and die with all the scums. He pulled me over for the exhaust and the wing before at the same place where she got pulled over. He sux.

any help will be great. If you want to flame me, go here and flame.

here

Please don't click these if you don't want to flame me.

I just want some help.

It's on my video camera. I have a bunch of stuff I did last summer, donuts and other races and such, I just don't know how to get it off the little tape and onto my computer, and it needs editing bad.

Radar him? They didn't use any radar. All the pilot had was a stopwatch and a pair of binoculars. And there have been many discussions in bike forums about how this meathod of speed calculation is flawed.
I still find it unbelievable that he hit 205.
