any1 else beside me, that still prefer the looks of the 7 then the 8?

Damn, i never wanted the evo to come to the states i wanted to import me a 7 and be the koolest kid in the America, especially in high school(im 17). Might be a lil selfish but o well. Any1 else feel the same??

 

evolution 7 looks soooo much better than the 8 but im gonna get an 8 and hopefully fit the evo 7 front bumper on to it

 

I think that the V was the best looking...

 

The only diff in the 7 and 8 is the grille, thats major.

As for the other models, the pre 7 had that aggressive body outline, otherwise they all look the same.

 

I actually like the 8 a little better with the following caveats:

1) I would prefer the middle of the grill to be open like it is on the 7. I agree with the school of thought that says that triangular piece with the symbol is UGLY. But, I do prefer the more rounded look of the lower front on the 8.

2) No altezzas, pu-leaz...I think I'm going to put a big Vin Deisel sticker on the hood of my car now...j/k. Hopefully they offer a dark surround like they do on the new IS 300's. That's what I'm going to look for if they only offer the shiny version.

Oh yeah...and Santa, I want a U.S spec Evolution with ACD. I've been a good boy

I have always been partial to IV-VI. I hated the VII when I first saw it and loved it within a year. I hated the VIII when I saw it and now I love it. I'll be happier when I'm driving it though.

 

erm the 8 looks more agressive to me i guess...coz the front isnt so 'boxy"?...but ultimately i think evo 6 was the best looking evo ard.esp tht trademark wing...

 

I think the EVO VI was the best looking model. When I saw the pics of the VII at first, I was saying "What the hell is that?". I wonder what the Evolution IX will look like though (since Mitsu is keeping the same rally car for the next season.)

Yep! V is the ****! I prefer round to square. V is the last of the classic Evos.
