shhhhhhhhhhhh, no yelling in here.

I would imagine it would work if properly wired, but a decent theif would be able to get around it pretty quickly I imagine.

i would tend to think that the two wires coming out of the box just bridge an interruption in the starter wire which would mean that yanking that box out of your dash, cutting the wires, and twisting them together would bypass the starter kill.

if its not tied to the ECU or a hidden alarm brain, then i wouldnt buy any electronic starter kill...you are better off with hardwired (and hidden) switch to shut down the fuel pump

hahah, that too.... it reminds me of some old school movie starring a "bag phone" as a mobile telephone... or knight-rider, james bond, etc... dialing and driving

the ECU has a built-in starter immobilizer that responds to your keys, so i don't really see any need for that one.

doesn't work... thieves can tell what buttons you hit by the oil your fingers leave on the keypad... i used to have one in my type-r and it was more of a pain than anything else... the only good thing is that if you use it in place of a manual kill switch you can easily put the keypad in valet mode so you don't have to tell the valet guy to push the clutch hold down on this button and turn the key.... some would say that telling someone where your killswitch is sacrilege but if you have more than one it's no biggie... i'd recommend one kill button you always have to press wired to the ignition and other actual switches wired to the fuel for extra security... probably cheaper than a keypad as well.

I was actually gonna get this but really there is no need since the immobilizer.

They'll be hard to steal our car, unless they tow it.
