noise from front suspention?

ive noticed a clunking noise coming from the front drivers side of the car. it seems to do it randomly but it always does it over larger bumps like speed bumps or in and out of drive ways. i made an apointment to have the car looked at by the dealer i bought it from. i hope they dont give me any grief about it. the car is all stock with 2,300 miles on it. have any of you had this problem and if so what was it? sounds almost like the strut is lose or some thing.

I have the same problem, but I never noticed it until after I got my aftermarket suspension. Still trying to get it sorted out.

Do you guys have stock suspensions?

What year and model do you have?

Maybe it's just a problem with the '04 RS, which is what I have too. There aren't very many RS models out there, so I think it's pretty unusual that 2 out of 3 (and maybe all 3) who have responded to this thread have an RS. Although it doesn't seem like it could have anything to do with the front differential, that's the one mechanical thing that sets our cars apart from all the '04 EVO VIIIs.

It could be the front sway bar hitting something?

yeah i have an 04 gsr, and it has near 10k on it, and it just started happening the other day. it only seems to happen to me, when it is pretty cold outside. below 35 degrees or so, and only if i hit a manhole cover, or speed bump while turning. and it only seems to happen when the car is not quite at optimal temperature. keep us posted as it happened to me for the first time about 4 days ago, i would really like to know what the dealer says.
