Just got a '01 stock evo7.. Compared to having owned a Ferrari 308, Porsche 928 and a Porsche 996... what a toy the evo is!!! It's like a huge r/c car with the most responsive OS mega engine on earth!! I have 'discriminated' so many supercars around here it's like i'm on a roll! It's so funny this car, i'm in love!!!

I'm having a ralliart 3point clutch installed now, will post comments..

do they have evo8 in dubai? also how much you pay for the EVO7. i have been to dubai alot of times and luv the town.

My 04 RS has black trimed windows on the doors. So my conclusion would be that nothing changed from the 7 in respect to that.

 

was the car painted or did the wing just come facotry painted and the EVO8 got the addition of carbon fiber?

Most of us tint the side windows black in dubai (max allowed is 30% shade) due to extreme heat in the summer.. We keep the front and back windows stock though for visibility purpose

The evo8 is available in dubai, i just cruised with an MR two nights back... great stereo sound on Sheikh Zayed street, which is the most beautiful street in dubai..

The red scoop has been painted.. It lies just above the electrical fuse and relays.. I guess it is there to aerate those electrical components..

Sano: Am changing my residence soon to a better environment, so the car will have to pick some dirt for some time.. The compound caretaker will wash it everyday meanwhile..

Joe: wing is 99% of the extreme looks of this car.. it's the main attraction on the streets: all i see is ppl in my back mirror scooping their hands to the shape of the wing! It comes factory painted of course (it's stock on the 7)

I really think the evo7 amongst the 6 and 8 has the most extremist 'frown'.. It is all beauty in the beast...
