The only reason I was told to stay away from the ebay ones is because if you wash your car, you have to becareful around them because they may catch and rip them off.

They claim to be the real UK badges, dont know what they are supposed to be made of but i'm really tempted to buy them to see how they are.

 

For that price I really doubt they could be real. But if they are you would have got a hell of a steal, If not you will have the same thing like me but yours would say VIII rather then IX lol

The nice thing is they come with a cardboard stencil to make sure it comes out right the first time, not a plastic peel and stick that can yield complications.

 

I like the look of the black ones myself along with the black diamond

 

Who knows, maybe they are that cheap and people just charge more cuz they know you can't get them. Are the real UK ones metal or vinyl or other, i don't know, but it would be worth it to check these out to inform others. Some one gotta be the guinea pig lol

 

I bought one of the badges from ebay a few years back when I first got the car. It looked decent, but they are cheap and the edges of the letters will bend up while washing the car, even if youre super careful. The coating that they put over the "chrome" also began to peel off after a little while. In the end of pulled the crappy ebay one off and replaced it with the authentic one that lancershop sold. Havent had any problems at all with that one.
