Any dealers have a "ship" date?

Is Mitsu shipping the cars anytime soon, or not telling dealers?

I think there are some guys who work for Mitsu Dealers on here that could at least look it up on a computer.?

I remember with the S2000's, Honda kept the dealers in the dark all the way until the cars were practically on the lot. I called the Honda dealer and told them the cars would be there in a day or two and they said they didn't have anything on the computer.

Is Ship date is different from acceptance date? And shipped from where? Japan? Or the port it's sitting in?

My dealer showed a ship date of 12/18/02. Normally they show a delivery date, but the status on the Evo was only listed as "on order".

The earliest Evos will ship late Jan. and the first Evos will be available mid-late Feb., no sooner.
Shipments from Japan start the third week of Jan.

YA, while we are all watching the Steelers kick some *** in the superbowl, the mechanics will be powersliding our brand new Evo's into trees, then rolling back the odometer's.

Why in america when something is "shipped" it is generally transported overland, but when it comes by sea it is called "frieght"......I guess this came from the same thought pool as putting "brail" at a drive up ATM

Dealer should start seeing vehicles arrive by mid-feburary on west coast and early march on east coast.

Ramp up numbers will be slow at first, but will increase as the months move forward.
