Splitter Question
Splitter Question
So I slipped off the road in a snow storm and cracked the Black under tray and the very bottom of the front lip on the car. What are my choices for fixing the car using the after market. I saw one of the splitters you can not change the oil without taking it off, that is not acceptable. Any Ideas??

This one uses the stock under tray though, looks like it bolts between lower lip and bumper.

uhm... why is that unacceptable? you can't change your oil without taking off that annoying undertray piece already... why the grump about taking off the splitter? it'll be using bolts which are much better than those stupid plastic screw pop rivet annoyances.
and though lips seem to be the rave of the day with evos, i don't see the point still... it creates a bit of downforce but this can be achieved with canards. the point of having a lip is so that it connects to something that seals off the bottom end of the car so you don't get drag and lift effects from stuff that is in the engine compartment. splitters do just this and do a good job of seperating the airflow so that air can go under and not remix with stuff by going up into the engine area etc.
