It happens randomly. It has happened after I first start the car and I am backing out of my driveway, and it has happened after I've been driving while I'm pulling into my driveway. I just posted the same thing in the evo AEM forums. I'll see what kind of response I get there.

Another thing I've noticed is that it is effected by my turbo timer. Tonight when it happened, the car wouldn't even start with the turbo timer on. I turned the turbo timer off and the car started right up. I don't know if that could be the entire problem, but perhaps at least part of it.

And I know that turning the wheel puts load on the engine and the rpm are expected to drop, but mine drop excessively. It drops to the point where it sound like the car is about to shut off. That's not normal. It didn't do it this bad before.

Might also want to check your idle% vs target table and make sure everything is ok there. I was having trouble with my car stalling when coming to a stop and when making low speed turns and it turned out that was where my problem was. Additionally as stated before if you are using 02 feedback make sure it is not fighting your warmup maps. I would definitely do a log and see what your a/f is doing. Another thing that may help is tweeking your fuel vs rpm offset and timing vs rpm offset maps. These maps will help catch a falling idle quicker and prevent stalling. I'm no AEM expert, but these are things that have helped me resolve low speed and cornering stalling issues. If it happens when the car is already warmed up I would be inclined to think it may be in the idle% vs target table. Good luck!

i just got the same problem. i thot it might have been that my diff fluid was low... so i filled it more. now i'm thinking maybe it's that my power steering fluid is low... but i haven't gotten a chance to check. what could it be if it's not?

waht happens for me is that i get a lil vibration feels like it's coming from engine nad maybe a dfif grinding sensation, but only happens at very low speed. the vibration causes the clutch springs to rattle nad makes a bit of a noise but all is well at higher speeds and without full lock. only happens when parking in my stupid parking space that i have to 6 point into.
