Fraud Vendor Help!!

I just bought this intake for $260 from a vendor...he's not in here...i got it off another site... i called him to make an order and he was nice enough to give me discount price after we talked for a bit.... he said it will be here last thursday...now a week has passed since the expected date.... i called in to see whats going on...it took me forever to reach him..when i finally did..he gave me all these reason and said he was just about to go out and fill out a form and ship another one out express... he said he will give me the confirmation number.... 2 days ago.... i waited...and he never REPLIED...gave me no confirmation number...i called to asked for my money back...no one was there so i left a message...i called about 20 times..and no one picked up... if he did ship it express..it would be here yesterday...another lie...

i payed with a visa debit card...is there a way i can get my money back through the card company?

Yeah, you phone the number on the back of the card and tell them that you wish to dispute a charge.

hay...uh...i called my credit card company and put up a dispute fund... i told the guy about it...then all the sudden he ships me it...shows up in my doorstep few days later...

the thing is...HE SHIPPED ME THE WRONG THING... so i called for refund..and he said if i ship the mistaken package back to him..he'll refund me right away...so i did... he has already recieved 3 days ago...and he said he's not sure if he got it yet...so he's going to check on it .. and make sure the package is still in good condition ..and i'll have to CLOSE the dispute fund against him with my credit card company telling them that he has send me a check for refund.... after i do all that...he said he'll refund my money? ..

so what now?

send it back and call the cc company back to dispute. don't worry about him refunding.. the cc company will get him moving faster..

you shouldn't have even accepted the package from him.. and when you send it back make sure you require a signature so you have proof he got it back!

Yup...he's playing you...he doesn't have the part and is stalling for time...you have your foot on his throat now...don't lift it and give him room to breathe...

Don't cancel the dispute. Tell the guy to go to hell and move on. It's his problem now.

Don't even talk to him anymore. just dispute it and get your money back... even if he says he'll give you a million dollars don't do it.

I'm sure the disputed charge isn't going to look good on his credit or whever it's recorded.. so that's why he's trying to get out of it...

again..
