Fraud Vendor Help!!
take that dude down. Look how much stress he put you threw, and its not up to him to give the full refund, you cc company will get your cash back.. Keep that shipping lable that says it was recieved at his shop just incase.
In the future, use a credit card when buying stuff online. If anything goes wrong, you can dispute the charges and let the CC company deal w/ them. And you won't be losing any money out of your checking account. Good luck fighting this bastard. Don't give into this guy's demands.
If you haven't cancel the dispute then your CC company will give you your money back and they will go after him to get there money so that leaves you free to never have to call him again. If you wanna call anyone for your money call the CC they will let you know how long till the money is back in your account. They usually say 30 days but I've had it take as few as 3-4 up to 20. Again you should be working with him at all. Now if your CC company declines your dispute then you have to deal with him but till then forget about him.

When this happens do 2 things.
1. Call the courier (UPS and Fed-Ex anyway) and tell them THEY left a package from a shipper that you didn't order anything from. They will return it to the sender AT THE SHIPPER'S COST AND CHARGE THE SHIPPER'S ACCOUNT. If you really wanted to fuc k with the guy you could pour 10 lbs of sand in the box
.2. Call your credit card company and put the item in dispute. You won't have to pay anything on this charge until the dispute is resolved in the vendor's favor, which it won't be. You will most likely have to write them a letter.
It's that easy.
It you paid to send it back, you can kiss that money goodby. It also sets up a record that you took possesion of the goods and makes it harder to resolve your credit card dispute, but should still be resolved in your favor. By law, if you receive goods that you didn't order, you don't have to pay for them, and if I'm not mistaken, you can keep them too.

Don't close it. Ask him to e-mail his request in writing. Then forward it to the credit card company. He'll be admitting guilt and those two can sort it out.
You can't trust him. Once you close it you're at his mercy and you'll look guilty.
The credit card is your big stick and he'll be a wrag doll in a pitbull's mouth with them.
