So I bought carbing undertray for an evo x from a member on here by the name danielskshin or Cho Shin. I paid for the item on February 27th and have yet to receive the item. After paying him he sends me a message saying that he got my money and will ship out on Friday. On March 6th he sends me a message saying "I was about to today when I noticed that your address is unconfirmed. When printing the shipping label Paypal warned me that I would be taking a risk. Could you confirm your address with PayPal so I can ship it out?" I didnt quite understand how my address was not confirmed i had this account for years with the same address with my bank account and credit card linked to this account. I sent him back a message that my address is have been the same for years, so i ask him to give me a call or text multiple time but it seems like he refuses to give out his number and prefer PMs or email. After getting the address straighten out he say he will get it ship out. On March 15th he sends me a message "Tried to ship it out today, but USPS said it was to large (over 100 square inches). So tomorrow I am going to try to contact some other carriers like DHL. I'll keep you updated." Few days later on March 19th I send him a message asking have he ship it out, and from their he has not reply to my PMs or email. I have open a dispute on paypal, and waiting for him to reply back before escalating to a claim.

danielskshin did the right thing by not shipping to an unverified address. That part of the delay is your fault, not his.

I agree that danielskshin not being ready to ship is uncool, but, as I just went through in another recent thread, that doesn't mean that danielskshin is a scammer.

Please, folks, stop throwing that word around.

I'll have to disagree. The seller has had nearly one month to ship an item that should have arrived within a week. The communication from the seller seems to be very poor. And it's been excuse after excuse which doesn't tend to favor the seller as we've seen this scenario play out in many of these threads. This one falls on the seller to get the item shipped immediately - the seller has had more than adequate time to ship the item.

Until the seller successfully ships the item and it arrives, the buyer has every right to call into question if the seller is a potential scammer. The title of the thread even uses a "?" to not directly label him as a scammer, but to call it into question.

I got my money back from danielskshin, but the communication and the excuses from him was still unacceptable.
