OEM TC fluid - what dealer has it? NY area

Short story
My car is sitting at service dep. with new TC but no fluid to put in.
They say it is backordered.
It has been 2 weeks already.
Did anybody performed a fluid change or had TC changed by the dealer close to NY?
They must have that fluid in stock.
I am willing to go buy it and bring it to my dealer just to get my car out of there.
Thanks

IMO just go down to Autozone and get some ATF SPIII. I use Royal Purple some people use Redline, Penzoil, Lucas ect....

Then again someone else will say dont use anything but OEM. Syncros bla bla bla. My Evo's got over 50k on it when I went to Royal Purple I noticed a difference. But thats just me.

Dia-Queen Hypoid LSD 90. I bought a gallon from mitsu. Like 80 Dollars. The TC takes like .85 of a quart!!! You will be o.k. with redline gl-5 90 wt gear oil till it comes in.

Well, when you need TC fluid, you need TC fluid. Anyway don't feel bad, my Mitsu dealer charged me $120 for the first scheduled maintenance--basically an oil change. Needless to say I've never been back.

I am still waiting for it.
I do not want to tell my dealer to go to autozone and get something else.
They promise it will be done today. ( just like the last couple of days)

I also called all dealers around NY and it seems like nobody has it or they do not want to sell it to me.

Thanks for your help guys.

OK, I called my delaer and asked what they used in the EVO transfer cases and he said "Diamond Gear Lube"...he said it comes in a big container...is there such a thing or was he just mistaken for the DiaQueen?

Yes they all tell me it comes in big container.
I am still not sure what they will use in mine - I believe the same thing.

Looks like there is a different fluid for MR now.

I had some other dealer that I contacted with questions calling my service and tell them what to put in. FUNNY.

Trust me - They have no idea what they are doing.

Man, hearing about what some dealers do scare me. There comes a point where you just need to take matters into your own hands by buying the right oil and bringing it to the dealer or changing the oil yourself. It seems like there are too many monkeys that work at the dealers that don't know jack.

No but they got this place called "Auto5" and it is worse than any PepBoys I have ever been to.

I agree with changing it yourself. Its hella messy but you feel 10x better when you are all done cause YOU did it.
