wax on my spoiler

I just had my evo detailed about 2 weeks ago with teflon wax at a local detail shop. I just noticed that some jerk placed some wax on my spoiler and it seems that it doesn't want to come off. Can someone please help me?

Just re-wax the spoiler and wipe it off. I always wax my spoiler to keep the clear coat protected.

yeah it is a good idea to keep it waxed, to protect the clearcoat on the Cf. many people have reported that the clear coat has come off of their spoiler, and even though they claim to have waxed it, it may help a little bit. i would try to take a blow dryer to the wax that is stuck on there, it may heat it up enough/dry it out enough to wipe it clean. good luck.

Thumbs up

ditto evolved04 & evo dadi. i just waxed the 05 yesterday & the spoiler was done as well. couple pics of the shine under the "hope this aint to ghetto" thread. heating up the wax a little should remove it. just don't heat up the clearcoat too much & ruin that!!

Be very careful with the heat gun or blow dryer, and don't keep the heat on one spot for too long. The best thing you could do would be to try some fine automotive clay and spray liquid wax!

i would also try to claybar the area or use some Meguiar's detailer spray. that may help too.
