Stock vs Stock, which is the stupidest comparison in the world BTW, the Evo should beat them all except the Corvette Z06.
With some cheap mods the Evo could even run a stock Z06, but once again, thats a dumb comparison. It is likely that running into any of these cars, a race would be modded vs modded.

i guess there was a car magazine that compared all the cars you mentioned plus the porsche turbo, lotus, ferrari modena in their best handling cars, corvettes, too and M3. the evo topped the cars you mentioned except the ferrari, as expected, lotus, and porsche turbo. the evo came in fourth. the 1/4 were good numbers. try road and track older issue.

I don't know where you could possibly find a "stock" GSX.. But i'm sure that due to the weight factor and of course horsepower of the 2, the EVO would destroy hands down... But I'm not sure about the Porsche Turbo.. I've driven one, and I can say that the EVO doesn't have a prayer.. Now after a few mods to the EVO, the porsche would have a run for it's money... I had that porsche up to 172mph and I was ****ting my pants.. But it was totally under control.. It's a speed machine.. I can see where the money goes for that one...

Stock vs stock and money vs money are two totally different things. For about $5000 I could buy a 1G DSM and make if faster than a stock Z06 (~$2500 car and $2500 mods).
The thing to look at is their overall potential.
An Evo has a very high potential. Right now the Z has a much lower potential, due to lack of parts and tunability. That is sure to change, but should be an important factor if performance is your thing. The new neon is pretty good stock, but when all is said and done, its still a FWD and will always take much more to be a fast drag racer.
That is why I say stock vs stock is a stupid comparison unless you truly want to keep your car stock, and expect that the people you race do too.

this may be a stupid question, but i have seen videos of Evos beating skylines and supra TT's and everything! (this is kinda off topic but,) I have even seen a civic HB beat a viper! anyways, what is the comparison of an Evo vs and Supra TT and an Evo vs a Skyline? Honestly.

I'm not sure about the TT, but I've heard the Evo's are slightly faster than an R34 0-60 but after which the Skyline begins to pull away from the Evo. I would say that Skylines and Supras have quite a bit more potential (HP-wise) than an Evo. They have broken the 1000hp mark numerous times, though I doubt you'd ever see an Evo get even close to 1000hp; more likely somewhere around 650-700 (in extreme cases).
