The dealer will have to certify the car anyways, let them foot the bill. At least then they could make their service department make a bunch of warranty claims on the car so it wouldn't actually cost the dealer anything. Good luck with getting rid of it, although please dont try to sell it how you have it right now! Make sure if you sell it to someone else they understand what they are getting or you fix the worst problems and sell it.

I don't want to see another thread on here about someone else that got your car and is complaining about it.

what about selling it to another dealership, let them fix it and service it then buy it back if you can get the right price? Or just trade it in and get a new one and be done with it. What is your lawyer telling you about it all.. You havent said much about him.

I am sorry i dont agree with that. someone already did that and look what happened. it is not fair to pass your problem on to someone else without them knowing. I think your best bet is to take the 2500 and fix the car and drive it. why lose money, if you can fix the car to be driven you will find it well worth it. that means you will have only paid 21k for the car most of us paid 30k for.

just have to eat your losses, and move on.

although, if you trade in with the dealership, they will do tests and make sure it works. They'll do all the repairs on it.

That or you could always carmax it. They usually turn everything back to stock.

anywhere you go to trade in into they will probably run the vin..so trying to trade it in as a stock car to carmax or the likes probably won't work.

If they can wait till later this year I'm sure the prices will be more like $21k. Then talk the dealer down a couple more grand & bam good EVO for that price. That's what I will be doing if I do decide to get one.
