i must admit ia m primarily a bmw lover but was seduced by what i saw at work today. iwork for a certain car manufacturer (and no its not bmw!)and today i was scheduled to help coordinate our LA Auto show display setup. There it was!!! You guys will be getting a nice bright red one. Judging from how they are displaying the car, iam sure that it will be locked from the public during show hours. the car will be at the south hall together with subaru, bmw, acura etc. one thing i found really interesting was despite the fact that today was strictly a setup day, security and corporate personnel around the lancer remained extremely high. i mean, none of our cars or others cars in the building were covered except for the lancer. the only tell tale sign was this big wing on the back of the car, massive brakes, and what seemed like a six spoke wheel. i guess mitsubishi is not fooling around about keeping this car hush hush. forget about pictures. even when they moved the vehicle from the floor to the revolving stage, they insisted the car still be covered. they even use a special kind of car cover where the windshield and drivers door portion may be zipped out. i only saw the front half of the car when they opened the engine bay to disconnect the battery. Nice Xenons!! until friday night, sit tight because im sure that none of you guys will be disappointed. good luck!

My red is coming in 1st. batch. i didnt want red, but after seeing that is displaying it in the booklet and now at the first showing, i guess the red is the one to have.

Auto Show In Philly Jan. 11th - 19th Will be my first chance to see the EVO VIII in person. I hope we'll be able to get a real close look at her. can't wait

 

I'm going to the show too But I really hope they will let us sit in the car. What's the use if we can only watch but not touch and feel the interior. I also want to check out what's under the hood.
